THE MISSION OF FONDAZIONE BISCOZZI | RIMBAUD
The Biscozzi | Rimbaud ETS Foundation, in accordance with its statute, aims to promote cultural initiatives and spread knowledge of contemporary arts by sharing its artistic heritage in order to provide equal opportunities for learning and social integration. It operates alone or in collaboration with public or private institutions, or with individuals who share the same objectives, particularly in the field of education and training.
The Foundation’s headquarters in Lecce now serves as an exhibition space for the works in the collection, while also establishing itself as a hub for the promotion and development of all the arts (painting, sculpture, music, photography) and as a training centre for school, academy and university students. The aim is to increase the city’s cultural offering for the benefit of the community by establishing fruitful collaborations with local organisations.
In fact, the Foundation makes the Biscozzi | Rimbaud collection available to Lecce, along with all its activities designed to act as a “driving force” for the ongoing growth of the city itself and the Salento area, with promotional efforts also aimed at a national and international audience. A donation will help us to:
- safeguard the collection and promote temporary exhibitions;
- carry out educational and training activities aimed at the most vulnerable groups;
- digitalization of cultural heritage to make the Museum accessible and inclusive.
